The market for allied health care jobs has remained very active and has even grown throughout the recession.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 3.2 million jobs will be added in the healthcare sector from 2008-2018, which is more than any other industry.  Most of those jobs will most likely be in allied health and nursing.

I am an AD RN (nine years experience, short time in neuro ICU, remainder of time in psych). I also hold an MS in microbiology/biological sciences, with 10 years teaching at a community college. Does a program exist whereby I might fast-track to obtain a CRNA?  Rather than having to acquire a BSN, then a MSN, then a CRNA?
