Responsible for the installation, modification, configuration and maintenance of the Radiology Information System (RIS) and related Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Provides technical expertise in implementing and supporting all RIS/PACS functions and for the daily operational integrity of the systems. Serves as a liaison between internal groups and the organization and vendors regarding all digital imaging initiatives. Ensures timely and accurate capture of DICOM image data into the PACS system. Ensures acceptable network transmission and integrity. Ensures WEB access is available to appropriate radiologists and physicians. Directs correction of broken exams to ensure data integrity in PACS. Works with appropriate internal staff to develop backup, downtime and periodic system maintenance procedures and resolve workflow issues. Assists with strategic planning initiatives for digital imaging systems. Qualifications • Degree in computer science and/or a minimum of 3 years of equivalent work experience.• Two years of experience managing radiology information systems (McKesson preferred) or PACS software. Preferred applicant will have:• Systems integration experience• Five years of experience with radiology information systems and/or multi modality diagnostic imaging systems configuration or operation experience• Contact with or direct work in diagnostic imaging setting with DICOM to PACS and/or teleradiology systems experience

Key Functions: Implement from scratch or port complex machine learning, statistical, and bioinformatics algorithms Setup and run computational experiments to execute algorithms on various types of data Develop and modify moderately complex software and demonstrations Document for all software, code and experiments Ensure the integrity and security of data, code, and experiments Participate in writing related technical reports and/or publications Provide technical assistance to usersKey Qualifications: Technical background (Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Math/Statistics/Physics/Bioinformatics or related technical discipline) Strong programming skills in Matlab, R, and C/C++ (knowledge of Java is a plus) Knowledge of algorithms and data-structures Knowledge of key machine learning and statistical methods Ability to work independently (e.g., find papers relevant to the subject, assess methods, implement methods, and apply them to datasets to reproduce results) Strong communication skills (e.g., put together reports and Powerpoint presentations) Strong analytical skills Ability to work under stress/deadlines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position as a primary duty requires that the Database Administrator provide executive oversight over a variety of Databases within the hospital. The Database Administrator is responsible for providing technical expertise necessary to oversee multi-faceted and multi-user environments within the hospital, affiliates and remote users; and for serving as a resource for evaluating, selecting and installing technology components required for integration of data into existing information systems. The Database Administrator is responsible for managing data processes; including establishing parameters for consistency of data definitions and elements; monitoring integrity of data coming from multiple sources; developing and maintaining metadata and its repository; defining appropriate access levels and structuring access to the appropriate data sources; determining and maintaining appropriate refresh rates to meet user needs. In addition, the Database Administrator will establish and direct the use of program specifications and standards; insuring system security, integrity and efficient utilization of automated systems. This includes the development of disaster backup and recovery plans. He/she will also work with Network Administrators to diagnose and correct MS SQL database issues. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to communicate effectively with others, to manage multiple priorities and tasks, to maintain attention to detail. Data knowledge in a clinical setting and Microsoft Certification is a plus.EDUCATION:Bachelor´s degree in Healthcare Informatics or Computer Science. Masters degree preferred.

This position as a primary duty requires that the Application Analyst 3 provide application management over the clinical and/or business information system software portfolio.The position is responsible for software design, software configuration, planning the information integration across the continuum of care, analyzing and resolving software problems, performing annual software upgrades, establishing information management as defined by process owners, and producing project management support as directed by the team lead and/or project manager.This position may be required to perform resource brokering over the BIS/CIS team members.Education:- Four year college diploma or university degree in computer science and/or equivalent work experience in health care.Experience:- Five years of experience working with applications, interfaces and project management.- Strong healthcare process/workflow experience required (clinical core processes: order management, service line management, clinical documentation of care, CPOE, physician workflow and business core processes: revenue cycle and supply chain).
