General Surgery Opportunity
Elkhart General Hospital is seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon with strong leadership abilities to practice a broad caseload, along with the ability to incorporate skills in Bariatric, Breast, Minimally Invasive, or Vascular/Endovascular surgery. Elkhart General Hospital is a full-service, 325-bed acute health care facility that includes more than 30 medical and surgical specialties. We have a 64-slice CT, MRI, and full Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology including all digital mammography in our dedicated breast center, and Radiation Oncology staff. We also provide the largest cardiovascular service in the region.Elkhart, Indiana is a warm, friendly, moderate-sized community of 55,000 located in Elkhart County (population 195,000) and is situated along the St. Joseph River. The city is conveniently located along the I-80/90 corridor in northern Indiana, an area that is host to a number of highly desirable shopping centers such as University Park Mall in South Bend, Concord Mall in Elkhart, and Lighthouse Place in Michigan City all within 10-60 minutes.
