The CMMG Director of Specialty Practices provides business operation support, project management and analytic support for all CMMG Specialty Practices, assists the Vice President of Physician Practices in the successful implementation and execution of strategic goals and demonstrates outstanding customer service skills on behalf of Central Maine Medical Group (CMMG). The Director of Specialty Practices promotes teamwork with staff, physicians, and personnel in other departments and supports the values of CMMG. This position has operational responsibility for the following specialties: GI, Endocrinology, Neurology, Pain, Spine, Sports Medicine, Pulmonary, Sleep Lab, Pulmonary Rehab, and Infectious Disease.The minimum requirements for the successful candidate will be:- Excellent demonstrated project management and analytical skills- Experience in business case analysis and development- Understanding of CPT & ICD9 coding.- Proven track record of achieving objectives and/or through motivating and leading teams or position of influence.- Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and management team members. - Familiarity with use and interpretation of quantitative reports and analysis- Analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications or similar applications in order to analyze large volumes of information.- Proficient with the use of Excel- Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills, as well as strategic and system thinking capability Preferred education and experience:- Master of Business Administration in marketing, strategy, health care administration or other related area.- CMPE or FACMPE preferred- 5+ years experience in large multi-specialty medical group business practices.

Minimum of 5 plus years of relevant work experience including leadership role. Healthcare experience preferred. Project management experience preferred. Proven ability to lead others through mentoring, coaching and influence. Project management skills preferred. Broad technical knowledge and the ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to non-technical people. Strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all management levels. Demonstration of meticulous attention to detail, system thinking, organizational skills and interdisciplinary clinical processes. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Travel 60%Virtual Office (Work from home)This position can be located anywhere in the USA GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES Coordinates the transition process for providers and staff becoming affiliated with Physician Services and for those providers who are terminating affiliation with Physician Services. Monitors and tracks status of all start-up or termination steps including Regional Service Center department responsibilities regarding the transition process. Processes complex information from a variety of sources, provides medical practice assessments, evaluates data and recommends action plans. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, including: executive staff, development staff, recruitment staff, physicians, physician extenders, legal counsel, corporate departments, hospital executive management, vendors, physician practice management, and Regional Service Center department directors and staff.EDUCATION Bachelors degree in Health or Business Administration or related field preferred.Bachelors degree in Health or Business Administration or related field preferred.
