ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR
The Christiana Care Department of Surgery seeks a key leader to support the Department Chairs goals by; providing consulting and project management support in strategic planning and new program development, achieving expected service outcomes consistent with pre-determined measurable performance standards for quality, service, efficiency and effectiveness for all programs and services, and developing, coordinating and monitoring departmental capital and operating budgets.Christiana Care Health System, with facilities located in Wilmington and Newark, DE, is one of the largest healthcare providers in the mid-Atlantic region. With 1,100 licensed hospital beds, 35 operating rooms and two free standing surgicenters, Christiana Care performs over 46,000 surgical cases per year making it one of the busiest surgical services in the country. A Masters Degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, Human Resources Administration or related field is required. Five (5) years� experience in financial or operations administration, preferably in a hospital-based environment with at least three (3) years in a supervisory position is also required.
