Purpose: To provide primary on site technical support of the Business Systems and Solutions to include system maintenance, implementation, utilization, trouble shooting, and problem analysis. Knowledge and Skills: Required for satisfactory performance in this job is knowledge at expert level of current application and system development techniques, system testing execution and development of test standards/scenarios. Also requires knowledge of relational databases, appropriate programming languages, data structures, associated computer hardware, computer networking, a variety of operating systems and client/server data processing techniques. Knowledge of PeopleCode and SQR required. PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain knowledge strongly preferred. Application Engine and nVision is a plus. Also required is the ability to demonstrate logic, verbal and written communication skills, troubleshooting and analysis skills and good interpersonal and organizational skills. An ability to work effectively both independently and as team player. Strong analytical skills and project ownership to ensure that deliverables meet the requirements of multiple integrated applications. Knowledge of PeopleTools, SQL/SQR, nVision, Crystal/Query. Formal Education, License and Experience: The formal education normally associated with satisfactory performance in this job is Bachelors degree in computer science or related field; a Masters degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of PeopleSoft system design and implementation experience is required. Project management or project leadership experience is desirable. An equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be substituted for those specified. Demonstrated ability in supporting a production system and ability to prioritize across multiple activities is desirable. PeopleSoft v8x experience is preferred. Working knowledge of Crystal, SQL, XML, and COBOL. Experience with the following PeopleSoft modules is preferred: PO, IN, AP and EPM.
