Reporting to the designated Regional Manager of Employee Learning & Development, the Learning & Development Regional Advisor is responsible for leading organizational and people development strategies across Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Supports strategic planning initiatives through needs/performance/competency assessment, root cause analysis, problem solving, change management, education and training, process design, group facilitation and project management. Participates up front in planning processes and interventions involving structural, workforce and skill mix changes to provide learning and development consultation and advice to management on a variety of strategic initiatives. Designs, develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs and training modules using a variety of learning modalities, and facilitates workplace interventions within HSDAs, the Acute, Community, and Primary Health Care Networks, and the Corporate Areas. Primary interactions are with managers/directors, staff and physicians at all levels throughout the health authority as well as with students, contracted service providers, the public and volunteers.QUALIFICATIONS:Masters Degree in a related field plus five (5) years of recent, related experience in organizational and people development or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
