Phoenix Children´s Hospital is the only specialty children´s hospital in Arizona and it is poised to become one of the foremost pediatric hospitals in the nation. The hospital is home to the states largest group of pediatric specialists and sub-specialists. In addition, the hospital continues to evolve its clinical practices and is working with leading local and national research partners to uncover new breakthroughs in pediatric medicine. Currently a 345 bed facility, new construction plans were unveiled in October 2006 that include the building of two new patient bed towers and expansion in bed capacity and other key programs and services over the course of the next several years. Primary Purpose: Plans, organizes, participates, and evaluates for effectiveness a variety of solicitation programs and strategies designed to increase interest in and support of various Phoenix Children´s Hospital Foundation events through sponsorships. Provides program direction and oversight of several targeted annual special events to ensure ongoing effectiveness and achievement of objectives. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:-Bachelor degree required-Extensive familiarity with fundraising Raisers Edge.-Five to seven years experience in fund development. -Additional experience in public relations, marketing or external relations desired, preferably within the context of a healthcare organization or a large non-profit organization.
