The Manager Finance will lead an experienced finance team in providing accounting, payroll and financial analysis services in support of the Hospital’s strategic plan.
The Manager Finance will lead an experienced finance team in providing accounting, payroll and financial analysis services in support of the Hospitals strategic plan. Reporting to the Director Finance & Materials Management, the Manager Finance will regularly interface and work closely with the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, as well as other members of the hospital management team on financial processes, issues and challenges. The successful candidate will be a confident and self-sufficient individual who is able to achieve consistent results while working in a challenging and ever changing environment.Key accountabilities:Maintain an effective system of both internal and external financial reportingAdminister the integrity of financial modules/dictionaries and internal controlsDirectly supervise finance and payroll staffOversee capital budgeting process and assist with operating budget planningQualifications: Baccalaureate Degree, along with a financial designation, (C.A., C.M.A., or C.G.A.)Minimum of seven years finance experience coupled with superior business and financial acumenMinimum of two years management experience, with strong leadership, conflict resolution and motivational skillsDemonstrated expertise in accounting and auditing principlesDemonstrated knowledge of decision support tools and clinical data setsAbove average computer skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Excellent planning, organizational and change management abilities
