This position will organize, direct and evaluate the activities of 20 social services providers and social services technicians in delivering social services and discharge planning at Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital. Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital is a 300 bed state hospital providing treatment for individuals with mental illness and addictive diseases and habilitation for individuals with a developmental disability.Responsibilities and Performance Standards:Assures that social services are adequate, appropriate and accessible Sets performance standards for all social services staff and interviews, hires, trains, evaluates performance and provides appropriate discipline when necessary for all staff reporting to this position. Serves as a Project Manager during implementations and upgrades by maintaining the project schedule, keeping all members up to date, and escalating risks / issues as necessary. Analyzes, installs, and configures financial systems. Mckesson product experience is a plus. Mentors others.

Oversee the system-wide management program for hospital operations in the CRIPA (Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act) Settlement Agreement with the Department of Justice. Under broad supervision, provides energetic and visionary leadership in the planning, development and implementation of a system-wide quality management program for hospital operations within the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).Provides leadership and consultation for all hospital-based quality management directors.
