Tanner Medical Group, an affiliate of Tanner Health System, consists of 26 physician practices that offer a wide range of primary care and specialty practices backed with all the resources necessary to offer for a full continuum of care. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Tanner Medical Group, The Director of Finance, combining knowledge of physician and budgetary practices along with management skills, will assume responsibilities for all operational and financial performance metrics, operating margin targets, capital acquisitions, physician compensation and payor contracts. The director provides leadership in developing long-term strategic financial plans to ensure fiscal strength of the primary and specialty physician group practices and is responsible for the management of the financial and billing staff.QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor´s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field required. CPA or Master´s degree in Finance/Accounting preferred.• Minimum of three years financial management experience in a healthcare organization, ideally in a physician practice/revenue cycle environment.• Exceptional abilities in physician relations and fiscal analysis required.• Effective communication skills and professional demeanor to interact successfully with a broad range of individuals and situations.• Extensive knowledge of physician practice financial and budgetary methods to develop annual budgets, analysis financial data and patterns, and preparation financial statements.
