Develops and implements internal and external communication strategies/plans related to product lines, facility concerns and issues. Directs the marketing efforts of hospital. Responsible for budget development and reconciliation. Initiates and delegate´s special projects and assignments with other marketing team members as needed, cross-selling product lines as appropriate. Works with other departments as needed. Other projects as assigned by Facility CEO.Education and Experience: - Advanced degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, business, communications or a related field from an accredited college or university.- Demonstrated leadership, management and communications skills. - Ability to analyze market research data. - Health care experience in marketing, strategic planning, public relations, research, sales, communication and interactive (internet/web) strategy necessary to understand and direct efforts. Major Responsibilities:- Develops and initiates activities, special events and programs for facility- Plans and initiates an expanding, influential and significant Marketing/Advertising strategy as well as Public Relations program annually- Develops and supervises implementation of marketing plans for product lines to include creative supervision, media placement, community education, screenings, collateral materials, etc.- Analyzes business growth related to marketing strategies. Accepts accountability for success/failure of strategies and adjusts plans as dictated by financial/market indicators- Researches and acts upon cross-selling opportunities within the division- Continually monitors competitors product line strategies- Manages the production and distribution of internal communication pieces (employee newsletter, corporate communications, websites, etc.)- Participates as part of facility management team, serving as liaison with hospital directors as well as internal staff- Facilitates communication between administration and facility staff/managers and appropriate assigned product line managers- Manages development and implementation of new physician(s) recruitment, ad development and placement, promotion and communication within DMAs- Serves as support for Marketing team regarding employee relations and physician programs and skill development V PR, Marketing- Serves as media contact for Facility, routing issues when appropriate to Facility CEO, appropriate spokesperson or PR agency staffCommunity Responsibilities:- Represents facility at sponsored events, social gatherings, chamber meetings, etc. - Serves on community boards and committees as needed or requested - Supports special projects as spearheaded by Division- Participates in professional organizations related to the marketing/product line functions as time and budget allow.- Works with Division office to coordinate efforts as needed
