An acute care medical language specialist transcribes the basic four reports (history & physical, consultation, operative report and discharge summary), in addition to numerous diagnostic studies from other departments in an acute care facility. Required Experience: At least three (3) consecutive years experience in acute care transcription with ability to type the basic four reports, in addition to maintaining quality and production standards.
