Implements, tests, and manages installation of new and existing programs, reports, or tables/Dictionaries. -Provides technical support and training to end-users. -Maintains clinical information system database. -Acts as a point of contact for end-users, management, administration, vendors, and consultants. -Analyzes, documents, and designs work and data flows. -Design one process for all facilities to use with Midas.-Setting up functional user groups between all areas to gain consensus within each department, and building matrices to show how to have uniformity among all facilities when using Midas.-Helping design reports needed for the facilities and corporation. -Evaluates departmental procedures and operations as they relate to Midas and recommends changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness as appropriate.-Researches, evaluates, and makes recommendations on the need for new systems or system enhancements with end-users, Information Services, vendors, and management by evaluating existing operations and systems, including potential cost savings, volumes, data flow, constraints, documents, reports, and impacts to the end-users. -Requests and reviews information from vendors related to new systems or system enhancements requested by end-users, Information Services, and management. -Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the end-user environment and systems and proactively seeks methods of improvement. -Participates in development of specifications for new systems. -Performs verification processes for new systems, or system changes/ enhancements. -Maintains contact with key users, vendors, and I.S. staff to coordinate maintenance efforts to ensure needs are being met for each application and to ensure completeness of proposed solutions. -Makes recommendations for changes to best impact the end-user. -Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers. -Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers. -Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. -Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.JOB REQUIREMENTS: - 3-5 years acute hospital experience in case management, utilization management or quality management.
