Interface Technical Coordinator
Coordinates interface development, design, testing and training plans for assigned projects. Leads teams and works with project staff and stakeholders to assure that requirements are incorporated within the project design. May develop interface code using HL7 or custom CCL programming if appropriate. Assigns work to team members to assure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables as appropriate. Develops policies and procedures as appropriate. Provides regular status reports to Project Managers. Identifies and escalates issues following departmental guidelines. Assists in staff training and serves as part of go-live support teams including after-hours call as assigned. BA/BS in computer science, business, information technology or healthcare related discipline. Five years of related and progressive experience, preferably in healthcare. Experience with training clinical staff in computer applications. Experience with clinical system integration, HL7 and/or CCL preferred. Demonstrates: Strategic thinking, ability to multi-task, organizational skills, and effective communication.
