Dental Health Associates of Madison, Ltd, a Madison, WI based dental organization is looking to fill a Controller position.

This position directs all the financial activities of the organization, and is responsible for preparing or directing the preparation of the financial statements, forecasts, and budgets of the organization. Also, he/she will have direct supervision over accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, internal controls, fixed assets and internal audit. The position reports to the Executive Director, but works closely with the partner/owners of the organization. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of increasing responsibility in financial/accounting positions, and knowledge of financial management and analysis principles and techniques, preferably in health care. Strong oral and written communication skills are critical in this position. Additionally, the candidate must have computer knowledge including, but not limited to Excel and Word, and skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. The candidate must also be able to exercise initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational goals. Responsible for delivery of financial information related to financial performance improvement and operational efficiency activities. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with the responsibilities of the Finance department to facilitate efficient and effective management of the operations of the Medical Center. This will include assisting Management of the Medical Center with strategic, financial and capital planning, coordination, evaluation and reporting activities. Preparation of GAP analyses for new international ventures and current clients.Develop various profitability reports including profitability by business, region, and product segments.Complete complex financial analysis including pro-formas and financial components of business plans that evaluate the potential viability of new international ventures.Develop revenue and margin reports comparing actual performance to budget and previous year, and forecast for the different areas of the business supported.Develop forecasting models using market indices, historical trends and other methods. Identify and implement process improvement measures which result in maximizing revenues and/or reducing costs.
