Top candidates should have minimum of five years work experience in a complex health care environment: Academic medical center experience preferred. Minimum of three years of leadership experience. Experience working with physicians - incorporating unique needs of physicians into the practice Strong relationship building skills Strong business acumen (financial analysis, business development, marketing, planning, and services) and strategic planning skills Ability to understand and implement change management processes Able to effectively operate in a matrix organization Leadership skills in team development, goal setting and execution, problem identification and solution development. This person will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and maintain a matrixed accountability to multiple hospital VPs and senior physician leadership. Responsibilities include strategic and operational leadership including marketing and business development, contracting, philanthropic activities, clinical management to ensure best outcomes and consistent patient experience, and research coordination. Will have primary responsibility for ensuring 100% regulatory compliance. Will need to prioritize and allocate financial and human resources for the service line, and facilitate collaborative initiatives around shared transplant issues. Will work collaboratively with UNOS and University CCTCARE.
