Provides day to day operations for ancillary or assigned departments. Implements strategy of CEO and COO. Manages assigned departments efficiently and effectively to maximize quality of services and profits of the hospital. Requirements Knowledge: Knowledge of the financial implications of decisions including budgeting and forecasting for a limited number of departments and/or projects is required. Skills: Must be detail oriented and able to focus on nuances of multiple hospital operations. Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including physicians, managers, and employees is required.Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.Work experience: Two to three years of hospital management experience at a mid or senior level.
