Carolinas HealthCare System, the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas with 25 hospitals and 1,100 physicians, is seeking a seasoned Marketing and Public Relations leader for its corporate headquarters.
We are privileged to be working with Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) in the recruitment of Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, CHS is the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas and the third largest public system in the nation. CHS´s integrated delivery system owns, leases or manages 25 hospitals in North and South Carolina and employs 1,100 physicians who practice in over 300 locations.Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Planning, the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations will be responsible for directing the marketing and public relations department, managing external relationships, overseeing website development and management, collaborating with hospital and physician practice administrators, implementing public relations strategy and managing Corporate Health Services.Successful candidates will have:* Masters degree in related field required.* 8 years minimum of progressive strategic marketing, public relations and media relations experience; preferably in healthcare.* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.* Strong leadership capabilities and a team mentality.
