The CMMG Director of Specialty Practices provides business operation support, project management and analytic support for all CMMG Specialty Practices, assists the Vice President of Physician Practices in the successful implementation and execution of strategic goals and demonstrates outstanding customer service skills on behalf of Central Maine Medical Group (CMMG). The Director of Specialty Practices promotes teamwork with staff, physicians, and personnel in other departments and supports the values of CMMG. This position has operational responsibility for the following specialties: GI, Endocrinology, Neurology, Pain, Spine, Sports Medicine, Pulmonary, Sleep Lab, Pulmonary Rehab, and Infectious Disease.The minimum requirements for the successful candidate will be:- Excellent demonstrated project management and analytical skills- Experience in business case analysis and development- Understanding of CPT & ICD9 coding.- Proven track record of achieving objectives and/or through motivating and leading teams or position of influence.- Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and management team members. - Familiarity with use and interpretation of quantitative reports and analysis- Analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications or similar applications in order to analyze large volumes of information.- Proficient with the use of Excel- Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills, as well as strategic and system thinking capability Preferred education and experience:- Master of Business Administration in marketing, strategy, health care administration or other related area.- CMPE or FACMPE preferred- 5+ years experience in large multi-specialty medical group business practices.
