Oversees the collection of data for the organization, HMA corporate comparative reports, and regulatory agencies.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Interacts with medical and hospital staff to facilitate the recognition and resolution of issues. Coordinates, in collaboration with the Coordinator of Medical Quality Assurance, Medical Staff Performance Improvement Activities. Incorporates, in collaboration with the Director of Utilization Management, the integration of appropriate information into the overall Performance Improvement program. Coordinates and implements organization-wide Performance Improvement Program. Coordinates elements of the organization-wide Patient Safety program. Directs all functions of the Quality Management Department to ensure quality work product in a time efficient manner. Maintains commitment to professional growth, development and competency, supporting Charlotte Regional Medical Center´s philosophy of team spirit and communication to insure quality of care and human dignity. Maintains a commitment to the integrity and purpose of the department.QUALIFICATIONS:B.S. required; Masters preferred. Florida licensed RN; CPHQ preferred. Minimum of three years experience in Performance Improvement, Quality Management; minimum of two years hospital experience. Minimum of two years direct management experience in an acute care facility required.
