Dental Health Associates of Madison, Ltd, a Madison, WI based dental organization is looking to fill a Controller position.
This position directs all the financial activities of the organization, and is responsible for preparing or directing the preparation of the financial statements, forecasts, and budgets of the organization. Also, he/she will have direct supervision over accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, internal controls, fixed assets and internal audit. The position reports to the Executive Director, but works closely with the partner/owners of the organization. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of increasing responsibility in financial/accounting positions, and knowledge of financial management and analysis principles and techniques, preferably in health care. Strong oral and written communication skills are critical in this position. Additionally, the candidate must have computer knowledge including, but not limited to Excel and Word, and skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. The candidate must also be able to exercise initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational goals. An undergraduate degree in an applicable field is required, and a CPA designation and/or MBA are strongly preferred.Dental Health Associates of Madison, Ltd. was founded in 1969 and has grown to an organization with 27 dentists, orthodontists, and periodontists and employing over 225 individuals.
