We are looking for an Operations Manager who will provide operational leadership, oversight and guidance for all duties related to the management of the Support Services Department across three Seattle Gastroenterology locations.Support Services encompasses: medical receptionists, medical records, referral coordinator, transcriptionists, centralized scheduling and courier drivers. Work situations include a variety of duties and responsibilities that require policy development, technical expertise, problem-solving skills, decision making, organizational skills, accountability, leadership and the use of discretion and good judgment.Responsible for productivity and smooth operation. Establishes and maintains effective physician relationships. Facility planning, including patient flow, space planning, utilization statistics. Evaluates and manages budgets. Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies. Prepares and administers monthly call schedule. Also templates the schedules into the practice management system. Participate in employee, selection, training, motivating, wage and salary administration, and performance management.Five (5) years administrative management experience in a medical practice. Candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Business or Health Administration may have a minimum of three (3) years administrative experience.Familiarity with medical terminology and billing practices, including ICD-9 and CPT codes and medical insurance coverage information.Experience implementing and or working with an EMR and practice management system a plus.Ability to use a variety of programs including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Previous experience with GE Centricity Physician Office system and multi-site management experience a plus.This is a full-time 5 day a week position.
