Ensure all patient care areas of responsibility are staffed with personnel, supplies and equipment to guarantee quality care. Supervise team responsible for processing and setting up endoscopes for the Vanderbilt University Medical Center operating rooms. Basic Requirements:This position requires High School diploma or GED and 2 years experience. Candidates with experience in sterile processing and endoscope processing are preferred. Bachelors degree is ideal. Additional Information:This is a full-time position working Monday Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm. Salary range: $12.53 $17.52. DescriptionPhoenix Children´s Hospital is the only specialty children´s hospital in Arizona and it is poised to become one of the foremost pediatric hospitals in the nation. The hospital is home to the state´s largest group of pediatric specialists and sub-specialists. Primary Purpose: Performs a variety of technical functions and duties to provide for the decontamination, sterilization, and assembly of re-usable patient care related supplies, equipment, and instrumentation. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited CS/SPD Technician course.Three (3) months sterile processing experience in a centralized department or surgical instrument room. Preferred Qualifications: National certification as CSPD Technician.

EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine dexterity.
