Phoenix Children´s Hospital is the only specialty children´s hospital in Arizona and it is poised to become one of the foremost pediatric hospitals in the nation. The hospital is home to the state´s largest group of pediatric specialists and sub-specialists. In addition, the hospital continues to evolve its clinical practices and is working with leading local and national research partners to uncover new breakthroughs in pediatric medicine. Currently a 345 bed facility, new construction plans were unveiled in October 2006 that include the building of two new patient bed towers and expansion in bed capacity and other key programs and services over the course of the next several years. Primary Purpose: This position will develop, implement and evaluates all aspects of comprehensive major gift programs from identified individual, business and foundation prospects to increase awareness and support of the hospitals programs, initiatives and goals through philanthropic giving. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: -Bachelor´s degree in Business or closely related area of study-Front line experience in fundraising field-Minimum of 5 years experience in fund-raising, at least 2 years of which include demonstrated success in closing major and planned gifts-Must be familiar with Raisers Edge or similar industry based prospect management tools Preferred Qualifications: -CFRE designation-Work experience in a hospital or health care setting
