The Practice Manager is responsible for the management of an Abrazo Medical Group physician office with up to 3 Physicians/Providers. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in staffing in line with budgetary restrictions, monitors overtime and adjusts staffing to correlate with patient volume, acuity and payor mix. Responds to physician requests to investigate and solve problematic operational areas. Responsible for and manages the accounts receivable functions to include complying with insurance contract protocols, verification of insurance coverage and center policies prior to service. Develops and supervises programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment. Participates with the physicians in the hiring, evaluation, and termination of front and back office staff. Coordinates and/or completes the compilation of statistical data, insurance applications and any other information needed to maintain appropriate business functions within the clinic. Ensures clinic(s) meet ADHS licensing and/or JCAHO standards.Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements. 4 years medical experience in a hospital/physician setting with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
