This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Allina´s Abbott Northwestern Hospital, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.Responsibilities:Perform analysis, design, develop, deploy, support and maintain reporting and analytical or business intelligence applications for the various business and clinical service lines serviced by the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Below are some specific duties assigned to this role: With little supervision, performs analysis of the scope and requirements for BI projects Prepares specifications, diagrams from which applications and user interfaces can be developed Holds regular design reviews of project artifacts With little oversight, develops, tests and deploys BI applications Troubleshoots incidents surrounding BI applications Participates in teams to define design and development standards Performs simple statistical calculations and develops reports Basic understanding of various quality and performance improvement methodologiesQualifications:BS/BA in information or business-related field or equivalent work experience 3 + years experience in technology or related field All EDW team members are expected to posses the following skills/abilities: Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information as well as multi-task under pressure Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills Excellent organizational skills Develops collaborative partnerships across departments, business units and Allina to achieve results and improve performance Below are some specific skills/abilities required for this position Ability to collaborate with customers, peers, leadership and vendors Demonstrated proficiency in programming and software engineering (object-oriented and procedural) Demonstrated proficiency in user interface design Demonstrated proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) Understanding of and experience with database management systems General understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) best practices General understanding of and proficiency in project management principles and best practices Ability to apply appropriate amount of rigor commensurate to project risk Basic understanding of statistics fundamentals Able to tune performance of simple applicationsPay, Benefits & Work Schedule:40 hours per week Day shiftWe have a place for you at Allina Hospitals & Clinics.
