Allscripts is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to provide overall engagement oversight to Allscripts largest and most prestigious customers. This individual is experienced in managing and overseeing multiple programs within a single, large, complex and rapidly growing healthcare organization. This position entails extensive on-site work and engagement with many levels of the leadership from executive and clinical leaders to project level managers. Contractual:o Oversight of Integrated EHR roll-out The Engagement Manager will have a clear understanding of the terms and conditions of the agreement and insure that all are executed. The Engagement Manager will also coordinate Allscripts resources both dedicated to the project and those that remotely support their efforts.o Works with Project Director to document any changes in the execution of the project including Scope Change Requests, Work Orders, or Amendments. o Identify project risks and escalate issues which may negatively impact the teams ability to move forward and meet the terms of the agreement.Project Based:o Works with Project Director Regular communication pathways will be established between the Client Project Director and the Engagement Manager. This may include participation in weekly meetings, Executive Status Reviews and/or Executive Steering Committee Meetings.o Works with the Project Director to identify any product or service issues that could negatively impact rollout.o Oversees successful delivery of various individual project elements to ensure overall attainment of mutually agreed upon goals and objectives.Escalation:o Focal Point for the appropriate escalation of any issues raised from the top down or bottom up. In this escalation capacity, the Engagement Manager will work with the Project Director and with the appropriate team members to address and resolve the issues reported. If no clear resolution is available, options and workarounds will be proposed. Project Staffing:o Engagement Manager is allocated 40 hours per week with an average of 3-4 onsite days / week. It is recognized there may be a fluctuation in effort to support PTO requests and key corporate events for this role. The on average arrangement is intended to provide some additional flexibility while providing expectations around this resources allocation.Strongly prefer 10+ years of healthcare consulting experience (or applicable work experience) Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience including the implementation of clinical documentation and like technology solutions for physician practices Strong working knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements Strong written, oral, and presentation skills for audience appropriate delivery (i.e. executive, clinician, project team levels)Exemplary communication skills at all levels of the organization from C-level executives to project level resources. Timely, thorough and audience appropriate. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, creative and entrepreneurial energy, embraces teamwork, focuses on delivering win-win solutions for Allscripts and the clientAbility to manage multiple complex and changing initiatives happening concurrently within the organization.
