Selected candidate must have at least one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H. Must have extensive experience in ICD-9, CPT, E/M Coding in both Acute Care Hospital inpatient as well as outpatient including physician practice. Experience in supervising staff is essential.This position is responsible for education of all new staff and works with the Senior Manager of Health Information Services on hiring new staff. Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate service excellence. Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products as well as encoding software and reporting capabilities.
