Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Allina´s Abbott Northwestern Hospital, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.Responsibilities:In support of our Patient Experience and other key strategies, this individual will implement various approaches for engaging patients as partners in decision making, and will help to translate patient, family and consumer insights into actionable recommendations for improving their experience across Allina touch points. Principle duties include: Develop and implement programs to gather patient, family and consumer insights. Programs may include advisory councils, focus groups, surveys, observational research, pilot programs, online engagement strategies, and the inclusion of patients on key teams and committees. Apply industry best practices and the latest research to support optimal results. Facilitate the integration of insights and best practices into decision making processes and performance improvement initiatives. Develop and manage project plans and related budgets. Coordinate with external consultants/vendor partners as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of previous experience in the following areas: Engaging customers in the development or improvement of processes, products or services. Planning and conducting advisory panels and focus groups, and implementing other market research techniques. Translating customer feedback into actionable recommendations, and facilitating the implementation of related change management efforts. Market research, experience design, and/or quality improvement/Six Sigma experience a plus. Health care experience helpful but not required Ability to apply a creative, consultative approach to opportunity identification and solution design. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and influence a variety of stakeholders to embrace change. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Outstanding project management skills.
