Hours: Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m., weekend, evening and night work required for periodic project work. Basic Function: Leads significant organizational change initiatives to improve clinical quality, efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness, patient satisfaction and financial performance. Focuses on the most complex improvement activities and structural reorganization processes. Provides advice and training on the development, administration and technical aspects of the organizations quality improvement efforts at all levels. Assist medical staff and clinicians in assessing patient care and identifying areas/processes for improvement. Provides guidance to Performance Improvement Facilitators.Minimum Qualifications Required:Education: Bachelor´s degree required, Masters preferred in health science/management, business, or organizational change. BS in industrial engineering, operations research or management science, preference given to candidates with masters degrees, but not required.Experience: Five years experience in clinical setting or demonstrated skill leading Quality/Performance Improvement projects in complex organizational environments required. Applied knowledge of systems theory, systems dynamics, process design, human factors, ergonomics, and social dimensions for change. Licensure/Certification: Certification in Six Sigma, change management, lean production, quality function deployment, related field, or progressive plan to acquire approved certification in two years.Other: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate process change, flexible solutions to problems and organizational learning. Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and initiative. Ability to lead and produce positive outcomes in a changing, unstructured work environment. Proven ability to understand and apply various analytical tools. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software and able to learn other software as needed.
