Systems Analyst, Nursing needed in Pennsylvania.
Systems Analyst, Nursing Department: Nursing Office Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day mainly Monday thru Friday, occasional evening & weekend Hours: Primarily business hours, 72 hours bi-weekly Job Details: GENERAL SUMMARY STATEMENTDesigns, builds, tests, implements and supports nursing and clinical applications.. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSUREBachelors Degree in Nursing required. Masters strongly preferred. Certification in Nursing Informatics preferred. Soarian or MAK building experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with the operation of computer equipment required. Familiarity with process improvement and project management techniques required.SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Advanced knowledge and skill with personal computers, the software product life cycle, and project management required.WORK CONTACT GROUPReports to the Director of Nursing Informatics; also works with administrative and department leadership and staff, in nursing, other disciplines and hospital staff in general, physicians, IT staff, consultants and third party vendors.
