Position Summary: The Program Manager owns the growth, clinical outcomes and profitability of their market to achieve Cogent“s strategic objectives. Additionally, the Program Manager will support the Program Medical Director in achieving the desired clinical outcomes for the programs.Essential Functions:Market P & L Management Market-Specific Annual Business Planning/Budgeting Market-Specific Quarterly Forecasting Employee Selection, Retention, Training and Development Program Data Analysis, Reporting and Action Planning Customer Joint Operating Committee Meeting and Resultant Action Planning Development and Implementation of Hospital-Cogent Departmental Workflows and Cross-functional Processes Customer Service/Relations and Client Retention Effective Work Team Development Market Growth/Community Education Facilitate the Achievement of Clinical Outcomes Consistent with Customer and Cogent Goals Hiring/Termination authority for the market personnel Key Authority Points (in collaboration with Program Medical Director, with primary accountability for):Approves all market expenditures, consistent with Finance policy/procedures on sign-off limits Prepares Client Monthly Reports Determines Physician Schedule Consistent with Cogent Work Metric Guidelines Field Personnel (AC/CCC) Performance Reviews Education, Training and Experience:BS or BA (minimum) Physician Practice Management Experience Allied Health Degree helpful but not required (RN, RPT, OTR, SLP, RT, PA, NP) Other Areas of Influence:Physicians CCCs Physician Extenders (PAs, NPs)
