LEAD CODERFull-time hourly opportunity on our HIM management team. Requires minimum of 5 years full-time hospital based coding in an acute care setting. Must code and abstract inpatient, outpatient, and ED records. Requires strong ICD-9 proficiency, and CPT coding guidelines experience. CCS, RHIT, CPC, or CPC-H certification a strong plus. Reports to the Director of HIM. Community Memorial Healthcenter, located in South Hill, Virginia, is a not-for-profit system composed of a 99 bed community hospital, 24 bed psychiatric facility, and attached 161 bed long term care facility and numerous physician office practices.
