Ground Breaking opportunity for a forward thinking influencer and decision maker. Physician Practice and or Hospital Practice Financial Forecasting and Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred.
This position oversees section sponsored revenue cycle functions that include charge capture, coding, and edit/denial management; manages section based resources, aligning them with best-in-class performance metrics in specific categories of revenue cycle (productivity, compliance, accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency). The position enjoys a matrix reporting relationship with Patient Financial Services (PFS) as well as Administration for the assigned Section(s).The role is responsible for establishing, meeting and exceeding operational work flow, productivity and results standards related to the above functions; participates in the development and implementation of a Clinic-wide revenue cycle integration model that coordinates and aligns the resources deployed to revenue cycle functions across the section(s) in efforts to build consistency of work flow and optimization of resources. The position also organizes, manages, and monitors the performance productivity of staff in reimbursement roles such as Reimbursement Manager and Reimbursement Coordinators with associated staff. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor“s degree required in related field or healthcare preferred. Masters degree preferred. 5-7 years experience with revenue cycle functions, preferably in both the shared service and clinical Section environments. Demonstrated understanding in how to manage resources across an organization to maximize organization impact in multiple Sections (shared resources). Experience with ambulatory care environments and ability to translate and embed standard operating procedures and process into the clinical environment where appropriate.
