The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking qualified executive-level candidates for position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Under limited supervision, manage, coordinate & direct day-to-day budget and financial activities for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.Through subordinate staff, supervise and assume responsibility for preparation of DBHDD budget requests, program operating budget, expenditure analyses, amendments, and other related budget/financial related activities of the department. Coordinate the preparation of the Annual Operating Budget (AOB), Prioritized Program Budget (PPB), Cleanup Process, and Amendments. Coordinate expenditures analysis process including personal services projections and monitor expenditures. Provide technical assistance to department staff. Develops information for department, OPB or other State Government entities.Also through subordinate staff, manages the Divisions statewide contracting process to include generating contracts and contract amendments for provider contracts statewide, the development, issuance and maintenance of the DBHDD Provider Manual and the monitoring and approval of provider monthly income and expenditure reports. Provides administrative and financial analysis support for State Hospital System projects. Responsible for State Level Patient Cost of Care administrative functions and other related billing and reimbursement functions pertaining to the DBHDD hospital system. Provides administrative support for the DBHDD regional office staff. Participates in the development, maintenance and implementation of the Departments administrative policies and procedures.
