Large emergency physician group seeks experienced medial coding manager. Position is based in Savannah, GA. Key responsibilities include:- Strong knowledge and understanding of E&M Level determination, Medicare guideline interpretation, Modifier utilization and ancillary procedure coding.- Supervision of coding processes to optimize billing and reimbursement potentials.- Ability to direct and lead coding staff in achieving productivity goals and incentives.- Auditing and monitoring ongoing coding processes for accuracy and appropriateness.- Participating in corporate compliance activities, provider orientation and other department initiatives.Wonderful benefit package available, including health, dental & 401k.
