Adena Health System is seeking a Manager, Reimbursement, for their multi-hospital system in Chillicothe, Ohio. With gross revenue in excess of $510M and growing, this 2 hospital system also has a premier 150 physician employed group. Located just 45 miles south of Columbus, Adena Health System is looking for a finance executive with deep reimbursement experience. Must have excellent analytical and critical problem solving skills with a bias towards action. The Reimbursement Manager will be responsible for the completion of all Medicare/Medicaid cost reports to obtain appropriate reimbursement in full compliance to federal and state regulations and companys policies and procedure and monitor the hospitals compliance to Adenas reimbursement policies. The Manager also monitors the hospitals accounting for Governmental contractuals and adherence to Adenas reimbursement policies. Prepare accounting entries to record the cost report, including final settlements. Revise data elements used to compute contractual adjustments based on the latest annual cost report and periodic interim cost reports. Review proposed adjustments to cost reports and make recommendations for adjustments and appeals. Serves as a resource on reimbursement matters to all hospital personnel. Communicates issues to the System Director, Decision Support.The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 4 years of healthcare reimbursement experience. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
