FHN, a regional not-for-profit integrated healthcare system serving northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin is seeking a Vice President to oversee their employed physician group with 55 physicians located in 26 sites. FHN is comprised of FHN Memorial Hospital, the Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center, Healthworks Occupational Health Services, Family Counseling Center, Family Dental Care and Hospice. This experienced group practice executive will be responsible for the overall operations of the Practices and success of the Physician Network. Reporting directly to the System President/CEO this leadership role will project knowledge and demonstrated experience running a large group practice while increasing volume and growing market share. Strong communication skills and the ability to gain the confidence of the physicians will be key to the success of this role.Qualifications:Medical degree and/or Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or Business is required.Five to ten years progressive leadership experience overseeing a large physician group is mandatory.Prior experience in a community based health system preferred.
