Data Abstractor II - Tampa, FL
Responsible for case finding, accessioning and abstracting activities of M2Gen in compliance with the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACOS/COC), the Florida Cancer Data System (FCDS), and department goals. Responsible for abstracting demographic, cancer management and survival information from patient�s medical records and other sources accurately into the M2Gen database. Performs extensive medical record reviews and concurrent chart data abstraction on all regulatory required clinical indicators for assigned patient group, in addition to selecting and collecting appropriate data from patient charts relevant to the Core Measures Set. Oversees and evaluates performance of the Core Measure Data Abstractors.
