JOB PURPOSE: To assure a safe, attractive, functional Hospital environment through the performance of all types of routine, emergency or preventative maintenance required to maintain an assigned specific geographical area in peak condition.ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:1. Education: Less than High School; must read and write English2. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years; preferred 3-5 years; hands-on knowledge of basic building trades; experienced in institutional or commercial building maintenance or construction; must have at least basic proficiency in the following areas of institutional maintenance: lighting, electrical equipment and appliances, plumbing, taping and spackling and painting3. Training: Carpentry or painter apprenticeship, or related trade school, or other directly related work experience4. Licensure: New York State Drivers License

Protect all persons in The Kingston Hospital and the property thereof.
