Director, Health ServicesSt. Joseph of the Pines Health System St. Joseph of the Pines (SJP) provides a full continuum of care and living options for senior adults which includes: Independent retirement living; Assisted Living; Rehabilitation services; Short-term skilled nursing care; Long-term nursing care, Affordable housing for senior adults, and a PACE program.The Carolina Center for Medical Excellence (CCME), the designated independent review organization for North Carolina New Organizational Vision Award (NC NOVA) has awarded the Health Center and the Coventry at St. Joseph of the Pines with its special licensure designation.The Director guides day-to-day operations of the SJP Health Center and Assisted Living communities. Reporting to the President & CEO of the organization, the Director is a member of the organizations Operations and Management team. The position will oversee the development team function as it relates to construction and renovations. Direct reports to this position include: Director of Nursing, Assistant Administrator, Admissions Coordinator, Director of Assisted Living, Director of Medical Records and Social Worker. The Director will oversee 155 employees and an operating budget of $14M. Requirements include:Bachelors degree is required.Masters degree in Business Administrator, Public Health Administrations or a health related degree is preferred.Demonstrated successful experience in supervisory capacity in long-term care facility or hospital is required.Possess a current unencumbered Nursing Home Administrators license or meet the licensure requirements of State of North Carolina.Thorough understanding of Medicare reimbursement, Department of Health and CARF rules and regulations.Knowledgeable of quality assessment and assurance procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care and assisted living.Visionary with the ability to help the facility to expand and evolve.
