iHealth Technologies is looking for certified coders (CPC) to perform coding research.
Research Analysts conducting the following work:-Identify necessary changes to existing library rules through researching, reviewing and interpreting coding industry publications and coding guidelines-Manage multiple project according to assigned specialties for monthly update -Extensive use of NCCI (National Correct Coding Initiative) edits, NCCI policy manual, CMS and industry publications, and AMA guidelines to update library rules-Identify coding trends and patterns to add new library rules to increase client savings -Update library rules using CMS fee schedules released on a yearly and quarterly basis -Complete research reviews of assigned specialties policies accurately and timely-Prepare all documents and coordinate specialty reviews with Medical Director or Physician ConsultantQualifications:-5+ years experience coding for multiple specialties-Professional coder certification (CPC,CPC-H, CPC-P or CCS-P) or LPN or RN with medical coding knowledge-Prior experience using CCI, CMS, AMA and specialty websites to retrieve coding updates-Ability to interpret coding updates and write logical statements-Strong verbal and written communication skills-Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and WordiHealth Technologies offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental coverage, 401(k) Plan, Profit sharing, vacation, paid holidaysiHealth Technologies supports a diverse workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V
