Job Title: Business Leader, Risk Analysis & Integration - National Facilities Services (NFS) - Oakland, CAJob Description:We are seeking a candidate for the Business Leader, Risk Analysis & Integration - National Facilities Services (NFS) - Oakland, CA position. This position is responsible for the developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial control and business risks and performing technical analysis to determine present and future financial and business risk performance. The role is also responsible for gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing recommendations regarding financial controls and business risks trended future requirements besides performing research and studies in the areas of financial controls, regulatory and business risks performance and impact of governmental requirements.Essential Functions:- Lead efforts in working with assigned staff to develop and implement comprehensive risk monitoring and reporting program for NFS.- Partner with NFS Operations team leaders and management to analyze and develop quick mitigating responses to key risks.- Partner with Controller and Director of Compliance Operations to monitor corrective action plans for compliance and controls risks.- Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinate managers/individual contributors.- Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.- Participates in the long-term strategic planning and direction setting of the function.- Develops and establishes operational policies within area managed.- Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have KP-wide effect.- Participates in the development of overall functional objectives and Kaiser Permanente goals. Provides managerial responsibility for two or more departments or functions, through subordinates.- Accomplishes results through subordinates, who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.- Develops performance requirements.- Determines and establishes organizational structures.- May have budget responsibilities.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications: - 8+ years of related experience in managing a risk program execution, particularly as it relates to risk analysis, monitoring, reporting and integration into National Facilities business units is required - 3+ years of management experience is required. - Previous business and construction/facilities experience is required. - Bachelor“s degree required in related field is required. - Prior experience and strong understanding of Process Improvement is required - Prior presentation skills and report writing experience is required. - Requires advanced knowledge of own area of functional responsibility and working knowledge of multiple related functions. - Qualified candidates must have the following skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Coaching and mentoring skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to work with a cross function of people and influence multiple stake holders internally and externally. Project planning & organization skills. Problem solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - The position is based in Oakland, CA. Must be able to work in Oakland, CA offices. - The position requires between 20% - 25% travel to the regions. Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of healthcare industry will be highly desired, but not required. - Advanced degrees in related disciplines are preferred. - Process Excellence / Six Sigma certifications (FMEA) are preferred. - Prior experience in compliance metrics and analysis is preferred. - A strong understanding of KP and NFS organization dynamics is desired, but not required.
