Director, Primary Care Operations
In partnership with physician leaders and collaboration with health plan partners, provides day to day operational leadership and business support to TSPMG adult medicine and pediatric departments. Operational leadership and support includes overall budgetary development and management, daily patient service capture, staffing management, regulatory and compliance support and ensuring quality and service targets are attained in partnership with department Chiefs. The minimum requirements for the successful candidate will be:- BA/BS degree required with extensive group practice experience- Minimum of 5-7 years of large group practice management experience, preferably in primary care areas- Understanding of CPT & ICD9 coding.- Proven track record of achieving objectives and/or through motivating and leading teams or position of influence.- Demonstrated project management skills.- Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and management team members.- Familiarity with use and interpretation of quantitative reports and analysis- Analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications or similar applications in order to analyze large volumes of information.- Proficient with the use of Excel- Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills, as well as strategic and system thinking capabilityPreferred education and experience:- Master of Business Administration in marketing, strategy or other related area.- Thorough understanding of insurance industry and HMO regulations, including State and Federal laws.- Work experience in large multi-specialty medical group business practices
