This position will provide project management and medical management analysis for TSPMG strategic and operational services. There are five positions open.
Senior Business ConsultantThis position will provide project management and medical management analysis for TSPMG strategic and operational services. They will be responsible for the analysis, proactive assessment and reporting of region wide utilization of health care services for professional, facility and vendor contracts as needed. Functions include both standard periodic, routine analysis and reporting or ad hoc analysis for different performance measures. The responsibility of this position is to be proactive in the approach of analysis and will include making recommendations based on findings. The position will work with other reporting and analytical resources of the region in order to provide needed information to senior management in the most efficient and effective manner. This senior staff position is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and provide analysis and reports that are complete, meaningful and actionable.The minimum requirements for the successful candidate will be:*Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field *4+ years consulting, project management and/or supervisory experience *Demonstrated leadership ability with proven record producing results, satisfying customers, reaching performance goals and motivating and incenting staff required *Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and to develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives *Experience organizing, overseeing, motivating and developing project teams and department staff members *Familiarity with use and interpretation of quantitative reports and analysis *Analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications or similar applications in order to analyze large volumes of claims and/or authorizations *Proficient with the use of Excel and databases as well as typical data warehouse structures *Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills *Ability to envision, create and implement new program design *Excellent problem solving skills and teamwork abilities *Experience working with senior level managers and physicians *Understanding of the fundamentals and dynamics of a group-practice and a health maintenance organization *Knowledge of health care operations, including primary care, specialty and ancillary services Masters Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field strongly preferred Business strategy, planning, operations and health care experience also preferred.
