Job SummaryThe Sourcing Specialist is responsible for all steps associated with cold calling, sourcing, screening and delivering qualified, diverse physician candidates to LifePoint facilities. The Sourcing Specialist must have the ability to effectively communicate with potential candidates and the internal physician recruiters which he/she supports.General Responsibilities:Extensive cold calling and sourcing to identify qualified physician candidates. Minimum of 50 cold calls per day, 2 referrals per day, 3 interview visits per month and 1 placement per month.Utilize recruiting resources to attract qualified candidates with skills that pertain to the open positions at the hospitals.Identify and participate in networking activities such as attending job fairs as needed and cold calling on medical schools, organizations, and outplacement services.Conduct phone screens and present qualified candidates to LifePoint physician recruiters for them to conduct the remaining steps of the recruiting process.Post available positions on the Internet to increase the available candidate pool.Evaluate all curriculum vitas received and select only those candidates that are qualified to enter into the interview process.Maintain a daily call sheet detailing all contacts and call attempts for the day.Maintain all documentation to track candidate information and sourcing strategies.Obtaining production goals as specified by the Corporate Director of Physician Recruiting.Maintain a professional work environment.Minimum Qualifications ( Experience, Education and Special Certifications)Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing preferred. Extensive sales, telemarketing, or external recruiting experience required.Self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.Excellent customer service, organizational, problem solving and time management skills are essential. PC literate in a Windows environment including, MS Word, Outlook and the Internet.Understanding of recruitment laws and regulations
