The teacher is responsible for the development and facilitation of the student´s IEP; the teacher is a special educator who will create a learning environment suitable to the needs of the socially/emotionally disturbed students.

Bachelors Degree; 1 year experience and current Illinois State Certification-Type 10 in the special education area or Learning Behavior Specialist 1 Unlimited.

Level of knowledge normally acquired through the completion of a bachelors degree, preferably in the field of psychology.A minimum of one years experience in working with severely, emotionally/behaviorally disordered children and adolescents.
