The Customer Success Team is currently seeking experienced clinical project managers to assist in the delivery of our adoption services. This position is responsible for all aspects of the development of domain expertise projects and programs and leads high-performing clinical service line consulting teams. Projects will be focused on adoption services emphasizing people, process and technology as related to our Horizon Clinicals applications. Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from original concept through final delivery. Defines project scope and objectives as defined in project proposal. Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources. Reports to and escalates project issues to Project Sponsor. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on all matters. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develops project charter and all deliverables, detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for appropriate documentation of minutes. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides project management guidance to project team. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems. ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * Extensive knowledge, past use of McKesson Clinicals Solutions * Participate and provide leadership in project scoping and planning activities. * Provide executive and day to day project management services of clinical service line consulting engagements. * Utilize, develop and promote use of domain expertise processes, tools and methodologies * Creates and leads high-performing clinical service line teams. * Recommends opportunities to refine and enhance domain expertise processes, tools, and deliverables. * Actively seek McKesson product training opportunities to add value to customer clinical service line engagements. * Provide internal status reporting and updates to executive leadership within the practice. * Ensure quality and timeliness of project deliverables. Monitor and manage to defined project metrics. * Identify and participate in new business development and pursuit activities. * Participate in recruiting activities as requested. * Participate in sales and project scoping activities as requested. CERTIFICAION/LICENSURE * Minimum five (5) years experience in consulting, or project management of healthcare projects (one year must be consulting). * Working knowledge and experience with clinical information systems required, including implementation or system administration. Experience with McKesson Horizon products or similar application preferred. * Bachelors degree with emphasis or certification in clinical sciences (RN) or related area. Masters in clinical specialty, Business or Health Administration helpful. * Significant experience in project management. PMI Certification preferred. If not PMI Certified by time of hire, it is required within nine (9) months of hire date. * Demonstrated familiarity with process and operational design * General understanding of services management related to the healthcare industry (clinical provider or systems), as appropriate for level * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills; problem solving and facilitation skills; processes documentation, particularly MS Project, Power Point and Visio. * Demonstrated competency in client facing meetings and interviews and client relationship management skills.
