Reporting to the Risk Manager, this position leads and coordinates improvement activities throughout Overlake Hospital for successful accrediting, licensing, and certification surveys (e.g., Joint Commission, Dept of Health, Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services). Develops and implements systems and processes to sustain survey readiness, including the development and implementation of staff education forums and ongoing internal competency/preparedness reviews. This award is granted to the top 5 percent of all hospitals in the U.S.This position requires a Bachelors degree, else an Associates degree in a clinical area plus 2 years related experience. Masters preferred. Current licensure as appropriate to profession is required. Also requires 3 years experience in an inpatient setting, with specific knowledge of hospital regulatory and accrediting standards. CPHQ or CQP certification strongly desired.
